Back from Cherating

Yup, got home at about 7:30pm just now. Very tired... Will update the details and some pictures later, now just don't feel like doing it. Haha...

Conclusion is that I enjoyed this trip very much, except that it's a little too rush. Would've been better if it's a 3 days 2 nights plan :D

The only regret is that I missed the lekors... ah never mind, there's always next time :P

Wah, Cherating is a nice place leh
But like you said, 2 nights would be nice
The sunrise there is incredible, though a bit too much sand flies and mosquitos
I hate sand flies

chen: my ex-boss say the locals call it "kau sai" (dog poo) hahaha

winn winn: you ate the "r"? :P

zero: ya nice place indeed... agree with you on the mozzie part... once the sky gets dark, sure kena. sand flies on the other hand didn't see many of them, saw a lot of hermit crabs being washed up the shore

izso: it's a kind of keropok famous on the east coast... i think it's a flour and fish mixture, then they roll it into a long form and slice it 45 degrees

Kuantan got nice char kuat joints, but since you're in cherating, try driving a little north to this town call cukai. There is a shop call 'tong juan' that serves very good stuffed crab. Another coffee shop that serves very good roti bakar and hailam kopi is Hai Peng somewhere at the main traffic junction of that town.
