(Music of Nelly's Dilemma playing in the backgroud) :P
I'm having a case of dilemma due to limited resources and unlimited wants.
I'm currently pondering of getting an imaging device (read: camera), but then again, I have a choice of either upgrading to a decent camera phone (hereby referred as CP), or just get a digital camera (hereby referred as DC)
Of course, the best choice will be getting both, but then pocket ($$$) can't support.
Things I'm weighing
1) I would like something small and compact so I can carry it wherever I go (CP, DC)
2) I prefer something with somewhat high optical zoom (DC)
3) I didn't really want to venture into prosumer/DSLR due to the size and mainly the cost
4) Thinking of upgrading my 2-year-old phone probably next year (CP)
At this point, if money is not a constraint, best choice would be a decent 2-3mp CP (Nokia N-series, SE K-series... those with AF), complemented by a high zoom DC (Caplio R5, Lumix TZ1)
Maybe I should just get a cheap cheap SE K750 first, then wait and see. The CP market is likely to hit 5-7mp range next year after Nokia launches it's 5mp N95, while I'm really hoping to see a successor to TZ1 (I've read that the current Venus engine does too much NR, and on long end of the zoom it's not that clear).

I like 'em separates. a phone is a phone, a camera is a camera. but if the all-anticipated Apple iPhone should have a built-in camera, I ain't complainin'! ;)
cannot wait for too long leh..
must made up your mind fast..

better to invest in camera :D
i think getting the SE K750 is a good option. Cause my fren has one and he absolutely fallen in love with it.
